Never Stop Loving...

In love, a person can enter in like a thief and steal your heart. And you become a willing victim. You open up and let him or her see all the parts of you. Even the parts that are not so pretty. And because you love him or her, with every touch they surrender to you, they are able to fix every part of you that is hurting, even the ones that are not so pretty.

In our unawares we build our lives around the people we love and when they are gone we feel a sense of loneliness, emptiness, fear, doubt, etc. Sometimes we need the reassurance of a reason to keep going.

Then, there is the task of starting over again. We fail to realize that even in the mist of heartache and a sense of loss the heart is resilient. The hurt cause by a tragedy only bends our hearts, but it cannot break it. And, yes, you can learn to love again.

Sometimes we don't know the reason why things happen. Our minds run wild with thoughts. These thoughts are usually negative. But we must realize that there is a POSITIVE in everything.

Yes, the heart can be scared, but scars can heal and dissipate. The heart can and will heal and yes, you can learn to love again.

We hold hurt in,  we hold back tears, we develop a sense of wanting to be alone. Anger and frustration can set in. But believe this please, Nothing is as bad as it seems!

Remember,  in life tragedies happen. Most times we are not prepared to deal with them. Yet somehow there is an inner strength that surfaces. When this inner strength surface it is usually done in our unawares.

God has instilled in us a storage of inner strength. However, many never realize this until tragedy hits. Nonetheless, it is there.

Please remember this --- Your heart is just bent not broken. You can live and You can learn to love again.

Don't allow guilt to enter in your heart and mind...

My advice:

• Tell those you love, that you love them.
• Make time for them.
• Love them.
• Do your part.

"Life is a vapor. We are here today and gone tomorrow".

Why did I write this? Was there a need?  Does it make sense to you?

~His words ... My conclusion~

I was sitting at a Starbucks a couple of weeks ago and met a very old man. We began to talk and of course I initiated the conversation.

Before I elaborate on our conversation I would like to share something with you first.

One, we all have a life to live. How we live our lives can easily dictate our future and our death.

Second, God does not necessarily make people famous, He makes us effective. And our effectiveness helps others to become successful, in living.

Thirdly, this man spoke with emotional content, not anger and with meaning.

 This what he said to me:

• "I believe it is better to tell the truth than to lie".
• "I believe it is better to know than to be ignorant".
• "I believe it is better to be free than to be a slave".

To me those words were so profound. To me this was a great man, yet he looked so feeble, his eyes looked so worn, but I believe at one time his eyes were bright and crystal clear. I sensed a man that at one time was a very strong man. I could feel his spirit, though weakened, it was still strong.

You know, I use to believe that there were great men, but after talking to this old gentleman I now know this:

There are no great men, there are only great challenges, that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.

Words, when used correctly can be very powerful. Words have the power to build and to tear down. To encourage and to discourage. Words have the power raise a person up or keep them down.

This man understood the bonds of slavery and from him I learned that to realize freedom, the mind has to learn to look at life, which is a vast movement without the bondage of time. For freedom lies beyond the field of consciousness.

Watch, but don't stop and interpret, "I am free" -then you are living in a memory of something that has gone. To understand and live now, everything of yesterday Must die.(Not necessarily forget).

I learned that the mind must be wide opened to function freely in thought. A limited mind cannot think freely.


After this old gentleman and I completed our conversation, I was encouraged, I felt resurrected and I felt built up, even at my age.

I believe if each of us could understand and digest the words of this man, we would all see things differently than the way we see them now.

This blog writing is primary for those who have been hurt in relationships or have been made to feel inadequate within their relationships.

I simply want you to realize that you are someone special and that you  have a special place in life.

Let no one make you feel inadequate or less than in your relationship! Don't allow yourself to be subject to verbal, mental or physical abuse...

Understand that you were destined to be successful in life and you need to think more highly of yourself and demand respect.

 Many of us travel different roads in life. Some of these roads are good, bad or indifferent. Nevertheless, we've traveled them.

Some of the roads we've traveled are very beautiful some are not. Nevertheless we've traveled them.

In our travels we meet people. Some people we meet are good / nice and some are not. Nevertheless we've met them.

Some of you have entered into relationships and were sometimes made to feel not good about yourself. Also you may have gotten  the impression by your significant other that he or she is doing you a favor by being in your life.

Bummer...

Well, I want you to realize this about your self. Therefore I wrote this in the the first person.

• I might not be someone's first choice, but I'm a GREAT CHOICE...!!!

• I may not be millionaire but I'm VALUABLE...!!

• I don't pretend to be someone I'm not because I'm good at being ME.

• I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past but I'm proud of whom I am today...!!!

• I may not be perfect because I don't need to be.....

• Take ME as I'm.... or Watch ME as I Walk AWAY...!!!

Listen,  God created you. In Him you are a perfect human being. You are a beautiful person. Except this about yourself, no matter what someone may say negatively about you!!!

~ Integrity ... Accountability ... Initiative ~

I believe if each of us could or would master and practice daily what I am about to write, the world would be a much better place and our homes would be in harmony.

Each morning when I arise I thank God for allowing me to see another day. I thank Him for my health, my life, family and friends.

I ask Him each morning for Wisdom, Favor, knowledge and a good understanding!

That being said, I believe that most people are good. I believe that most people don't have a terrible problem seeing what's right and wrong. Doing right is sometimes complicated, but knowing what is right usually isn't so hard.

Again, People are basically good. Honor, courage and virtue is everything. Money means nothing, though we need it. I believe that Good always triumph over evil.

Three things are difficult to achieve, yet living by these principles can make us successful in life.

• Integrity -  The quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards
• Accountability - Responsible to somebody or for something
• Initiative - the ability to act and make decisions without the help or advice of other people.

Why is it so hard to be honest? That is what integrity is.
Why is it so difficult to be accountable? We are all responsible to someone and for something.
Why is it so hard to take the initiative and be a self starter, without being ask or lead by someone else.

We must raise the bar by taking hold on integrity. We must learn that we are accountable to someone and we must learn to take ownership of things wherever the need lies. This could be in your Home, Job or Church.

Many of us are so afraid of failure, thus making yourself less accountable. Take charge over situations by taking the initiative to be a leader and not always a follower.

Remember, followers are lead around and told what to do. But, people with initiative take charge and tell others what should or need to be done.

There is so much we could discuss on this. So seek out Integrity, Accountability and Initiative. Make them your personal friends. Live by them, Love by them and treat others fair with them.

Know this, the worst thing about being lied to is knowing you were not worth the truth. We all deserve the truth. So, don't lie to yourself and hopefully others won't lie to you about you.

Remember, God is not mock, for what o ever a man sows, that shall he also reap.

An Inspiration.... Believe in yourself...

Most of us feel very comfortable at home. We feel safe and secure. But we must all enter into the world one day and this is usually where the battle begins.

The world is not all sunshine and rainbows. It can be a very mean and nasty place... and it doesn't matter how tough you think you are, it will beat you down to your knees and keep you there permanently, if you let it.

 Some say that life is hard and can hit you even harder. You nor I can hit as hard as life's circumstances. But its not about how hard you hit...It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... How much you can take, and keep moving forward. "That´s how success and winning is achieved".

But, you need to understand something. Life is not hard and Life does not hit you. What hit us hard in life, are direct results of the decisions/choices that we make.  You see life is a Gift from God and is meant to bring us Joy and fulfillment.

Moving forward:
If you understand your worth, and if you have a yearning, burning, intensifying desire for something that you want, then go get it. Take this expression of hope deep into your hearts~~~"Hope is a desire accompanied by Expectation". 

In other words don't just hope, but expect that hope to come to fruition
Fruition: A state or point in which something has come to maturity or had a desired outcome.

That being said,  go out and obtain. But you gotta be willing to take the hits the world gives.

Remember, negativity is always present. Someone will always issue doubts towards you. Pointing fingers saying: you can never be what you want to be because of your past, who your daddy was or wasn't, who your mama was or wasn't.

Cowards do that and that is not you You´re better than that, so believe in God and yourself!!!

If you have a dream, then you've got to protect it. If someone cannot do something themselves, then they sometimes tell you that you can't do it either. If you want something, then go get it.

Being True To Myself....

Many of us at one time or another have gone through the (Being real ... Being Honest) ordeal. We live in the prison of our own minds by pretending to be someone we are not.

We lie to make others think we are someone that we know we are not. Therefore, we lie to hide the true of who we truly are.

I'm going to ask you to do something for me. As you read what has been written, I ask that instead of saying we and us; I want to to go back to the beginning and read in the first person. That is,  as you read say I ...

Some things need to be understood. Especially, when it comes to hope and integrity.

• We must understand that Hope is a desire accompanied by expectation.
• We should always choose Principal over Profits.
• We should understand with clarity that Secrecy is Trumped by Honesty.
• We should understand that those we love should be more cared for than the show of ownership.
• We should understand that our word should be more of a resource to be tended to than a commodity. to be sold. (Never Compromise your word).
• We should put those that we love in front of our selfish desires, wants and needs.

We should also understand that:

Life isn't meant to be easy, it's meant to be lived... Sometimes HAPPY :) 0r sometimes SAD :( however, with every... up and down you encounter, you will learn lessons that will make you stronger.

As life goes on we start to learn more and more about responsibility. And we should realize that the things we do, affect the people around us. That being said, we should always take the time to apologize to those whom we’ve hurt, based on our words and actions! Being True To Myself will aid me when an apology is in order.

 Both loyalty and integrity are admirable  traits to have in friendships and relationships. Integrity is the quality of possessing and steadfastly adhering to high moral principles or professional standards.

Your integrity is not limited to what you want others to see in public. Integrity also what you do behind closed doors when no one is watching.

Do not be misled; bad company corrupts good character. It always has and it always will.

~Once when I was little~

Once when I was little:

~The word Impossible was never in my vocabulary~ 

It seems I was the one who always got into things first; I didn't think twice to look behind.
I got such a good feeling from playing in the dirt, Once when I was little.

We could pretend we could build a rocket and fly to the moon; Leave in the morning and back at noon.

 When we were young there wasn't nothing , nothing that we couldn't do, once when we were little.

 When I was little, I could dream more then, I could believe more then, that the world could only get better. I could be free more then, I could pretend more then, that this life could only show me good times. Once when I was little!

There was a time when I trusted everyone. There was no place I would not go. I would spend all day on the  hillside next to a cotton field, catching bees, playing in the grass, once when I was little!

When I was little I use to feel so strong and invincible, even when they'd tell me, I was wrong, that I can't live in a magic world and it's time for me to grow up and I've got to live like the rest of them.

Well, I know things have been lost, but I could still pretend more then and I could still believe more then, once when I was little.

Now, I am old and I still have hope, I believe that I am more wiser now, then I was when I was little.

My thinking is a bit different, I'm more cautious now, then I was when I was little...Yet in My mind I am as strong as ever and Mentally I'm pretty solid. I think more before speaking. Much more now than when I was little.

So you are young and you'll little and you are the next one, next in line. Stay as young as you can, Dream as deep as you can and for the longest time, because those days flew by me like a breeze just passing through...
